Why is Strategic Futuring Important Right Now?
The Genysys Group's founder, Raymond Rood, created Strategic Futuring nearly 40 years ago based on his work in human development and systems theory, the influence of his advisor, sociologist Elise Boulding, and his own experience working with his students.
He felt it was important for all of his students to graduate with a vision and a plan for the future and after using the process with his students for several years he eventually began using it with private clients and certifying people - like me! - to facilitate Strategic Futuring with individuals and groups.
One of the things we always say to our clients is change is inevitable but thriving is a choice. The world is experiencing so much change at such a rapid pace now and I've never seen so many people interested in making such big, significant changes in their lives and in their communities.
